Good to know
I can’t read Hebrew at all. Is that okay?
Yes. Many students start from zero. We begin with the Aleph-Bet and everyday phrases, and you’ll be reading simple words within a few lessons.
I’m paying from abroad. Which currency will I be charged in?
Prices are charged in Israeli shekels (₪). Your card converts the amount automatically, and your bank may add a small currency conversion fee.
How do lessons happen?
On Google Meet. The link is in your confirmation email and calendar invite.
Can I reschedule?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before the lesson. If you cancel later than that, or miss the lesson, it counts as a lesson taken.
Can I have the same time every week?
Yes. When you book a single lesson, choose to repeat it weekly and pick how many weeks. You will see the total before you pay. With a lesson pack, you can book the same weekly time from your pack in My Lessons.
Do lessons work for kids?
Yes, I teach children as well as adults.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. An official receipt is emailed automatically after every payment.

Accessibility statement
I want everyone to be able to use this site and learn Hebrew with me, including people with disabilities.
What I’ve done
- You can navigate the whole site with a keyboard, and the focused item is clearly marked.
- Tabs, buttons and menus are labeled for screen readers, and Hebrew words are marked as Hebrew so screen readers read them correctly.
- Text colors were checked for sufficient contrast.
- The site respects the “reduce motion” setting on your device.
- The accessibility menu (the round button in the bottom corner) lets you enlarge text, switch to high contrast, underline links, use a simpler font and stop animations.
Known limitations
I keep improving the site, and not everything has been fully tested with assistive technology yet. If you run into a problem, please let me know.
Need help?
If something on the site isn’t accessible to you, or you need information in another format, email me at info@lessonlocal.com and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
